KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk James Ratib has confirmed his personal Facebook account was hacked.

He said a police report has been lodged and stressed he has never requested bank details, personal information, passwords, OTPs or financial assistance on social media.

Any messages or posts using his identity for such purposes are fake, he said, urging the public to stay alert and report suspicious communications.

He added that official information will only be issued through verified channels.
