KOTA KINABALU: Wowspace Design Studio has received a five-star accolade at the International Property Awards Asia Pacific 2026-2027 for its boutique hotel project, The Cara Hotel.
The 36-room hotel won Best Hotel Interior Suite Malaysia and has been nominated to represent the country at the regional stage in Bangkok.
Creative director Kenny Wong said the win reflects the strength of local talent and credited the team and partners behind the project, adding that Sabah-based design can compete on a regional stage.
