Digital skills can boost youth employability: Mustapha
Kota Kinabalu: Vocational college students here can now enhance their employability through TikTok-driven content creation skills under the Viral Lab Madani programme organised in collaboration with the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas).

Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapha Sakmud (pic) said the initiative provides students with practical digital skills while opening opportunities to generate income through the creative economy during the closing ceremony of the workshop here on Friday.

He said the programme not only exposes students to content creation but also teaches them how to market and promote their work effectively in an increasingly competitive digital environment.

Mustapha said TikTok has become a major platform for content dissemination globally, adding that individuals who improve their knowledge of digital marketing and content creation would be better positioned to compete internationally.
