Resignations won’t hurt party: Sabah PKR Youth
Zaidi outlined that AMK Sabah will accelerate its groundwork — reinforcing organisational structure, stepping up engagement with young voters, expanding outreach initiatives, and fine-tuning election machinery at every level to ensure the party is battle-ready.
Kota Kinabalu: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah Youth Wing (AMK) asserted that the recent resignation of two divisional chiefs will neither dent the party’s strength nor undermine its unity — as it calls on all members to set aside differences, rise above political bickering, and fully prioritise preparations for the coming General Election (GE).

State AMK chief Zaidi Jatil struck a resolute tone, emphasising that the departures have not shaken PKR’s standing, stability, or fighting spirit in Sabah.

He confirmed that all 25 divisional chiefs across the state remain fully united, unwavering in their loyalty and backing for party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as well as national AMK chief Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim.

“Divergent views and differing decisions are part and parcel of a democratic political party — but this is no time for endless debates or political squabbling. Our priority must be clear: step up readiness for the general election, which may be called at any moment,” he stated firmly.

Zaidi outlined that AMK Sabah will accelerate its groundwork — reinforcing organisational structure, stepping up engagement with young voters, expanding outreach initiatives, and fine-tuning election machinery at every level to ensure the party is battle-ready.

“Our central mission is to keep Keadilan relevant and strong as the true voice of the people — steadfast in pushing forward reform, safeguarding stability, and fighting for a brighter future for Malaysia, and Sabah in particular,” he said.

He also issued a strong call to all political players to uphold high ethical standards and practise mature politics — warning that personal attacks, mud-slinging and baseless slander only erode public trust in the nation’s entire political system.

Even as the party moves forward, Zaidi expressed sincere appreciation towards those who chose to leave, recognising their years of dedication.

“AMK Sabah places on record its deep gratitude and respect to these former leaders — for every contribution, service and sacrifice they gave during their time with Keadilan,” he noted.

Zaidi stressed that Sabah AMK will press ahead as one — bound by solidarity, unshaken loyalty, and unyielding determination to advance the party’s cause for the people and the nation’s future.
