RANAU: RM10,000 has been allocated to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Pekan Dua under the Karanaan state constituency fund to support school development, particularly in strengthening curriculum and co-curricular activities as well as community involvement through the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG).
Deputy Chief Minister II and State Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the contribution reflects the state government’s commitment to enhancing education quality and nurturing knowledgeable, competitive students.
The contribution was presented by his Political Secretary Johari Suhaimin during the school’s 2026 PIBG annual general meeting and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
He said education remains a key foundation for state development, adding that the government will continue supporting schools, especially in rural areas, to ensure no one is left behind.
Headmistress Saloma Eukun expressed appreciation, describing the aid as a morale boost for both teachers and students to strive for excellence.
