SIPITANG: The Sipitang volleyball contingent will depart for Kudat on May 8 to compete in the MSSD Under-12 Volleyball Championship scheduled from May 9 to May 12.

Speaking on Wednesday, she described the contingent as a strong team carrying the district’s hopes into the tournament.

However, she said funding remained a major challenge for the players and officials, especially to cover transportation, accommodation and meals throughout the championship.
