Support for Moyog crocs to be hunted
Penampang Tourism Association President Benjamin Golimbi
PENAMPANG: The initiative by the Penampang Tourism Association (PTA), via a public notice recently, agreed that crocodiles in Moyog River should be hunted.

The PTA sought the public’s views on whether they have any objections to the proposal to hunt crocodiles in Moyog so as to reduce its population.

PTA President Benjamin Golimbi said based on the feedback they received, almost 100 per cent agree that the reptiles should be hunted and exterminated to reduce its rising population and thus ensure the safety of people in Penampang.

He said the issue surfaced after it is believed that crocodiles escaped from two farms in Kg Kibambangan and Kg Suok during the previous floods.
