PENAMPANG: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Moyog Youth/Beliawanis Chief Joeynodd Bansin has called for the establishment of a youth development centre in the district to better empower young people, particularly in the Moyog constituency.
He said the proposed centre would provide a platform for youth engagement and social interaction. “The centre is expected to offer space to enhance skills, promote entrepreneurship, and nurture a more competitive generation of youth,” he said after meeting with Penampang Municipal Council (MPP) President Noemi Dyena John Tren and the Engineering Division here.
Joeynodd said the proposal for the youth development centre was among the key topics discussed during the meeting, which focused on strengthening development in Penampang, particularly in Moyog, to create a more sustainable and prosperous future.
Additionally, he emphasised the need for a recreational park in the district.
