KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian passenger has gone viral online after sharing a touching experience with a cabin crew member on a Malaysia Airlines flight who ensured he could break his fast at the correct time during Ramadan.

Threads, the passenger said he was travelling from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur on flight MH367 when a flight attendant asked whether he was fasting.

“When I said yes, he told me that they would keep my meal for me since my time to break fast would be while I was still in the air,” he wrote.
He added that the crew member even checked with the captain to confirm the exact time for iftar and later returned with the meal before informing him that it would be time to break fast “above the clouds” at 7.20pm.
“A simple gesture, but it meant a lot. My sincere appreciation to the entire cabin crew of MH367. Your kindness, warm smiles, and thoughtful service truly made the journey special,” he wrote.
