KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has welcomed Petronas’s commitment to exploring further collaboration aimed at expanding Sabah’s participation in the oil and gas industry.

At the meeting with Petronas President and Group CEO, Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Aziz, the Chief Minister was briefed on potential strategic partnerships and the current status of Petronas’s operations in the state.

Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik also updated the Chief Minister on Petronas’s ongoing relief efforts to support the State Government in assisting communities recently affected by floods in Sabah.

The Petronas delegation included Executive Vice-President & CEO of Gas & Maritime Business, Datuk Adif Zulkifli, Senior Vice President of Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), Datuk Bacho Pilong, Vice-President of Group Strategic Relations & Communications, Ir. Norafizal Mat Saad and senior officials.
