At the launch, guests were welcomed by Sheraton’s Director of Marketing, Tina Goh, before being introduced to the menu by Director of Food & Beverage Jammaz Yassin.
Executive Chef Ryan Poon elevated the experience with delicacies carefully paired to complement Dilmah’s teas. Hans Lau Kim Han, Dilmah’s Brand Ambassador in Malaysia, shared insights into tea’s heritage, sustainability, and artistry.

Hans explained that tea has a history of more than 5,000 years and continues to change with modern ideas. Tea is not just about adding hot water, it can be used in desserts, savoury dishes, and even for tea-smoking to add flavour to salmon.
He also shared that Dilmah teas are natural, with no artificial flavoring or preservatives. They are rich in antioxidants and can help with digestion and support the immune system.
