KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Road Transport Department (JPJ) seized a semi-trailer cargo truck for breaching the road ban on goods vehicles during the Chinese New Year period, carrying seven rolls of aluminium on Saturday. 

The vehicle was taken to JPJ Telipok for weighing, document checks, investigation, and further action under Rule 2(1) of the Road Transport (Goods Transport) Regulations.

JPJ Sabah Director Datuk Mohd Harris Ali said they will continue to intensify enforcement operations to ensure full compliance with road safety laws. 

"The public is reminded to always follow regulations for the safety of all road users.”
