TAMBUNAN: The District Education Office (PPD) is strengthening its commitment to education excellence through the Jelajah Pegawai Pendidikan Daerah Tambunan Menyantuni Warga Sekolah dan Warga PIBG 2026 programme.
The programme, led by District Education Officer Dr Haison Jahudin, aims to strengthen ties and communication between the PPD, schools and the local community.

Haison’s visits to schools across the district are intended to engage directly with teachers, pupils and parents to understand needs and challenges at the grassroots.
The tour also serves as a platform for him to convey national education policies and direction to ensure effective implementation at school level.
Following the visits, Haison said he was proud of the strong cooperation between schools and parents and teachers’ associations (PIBG) in supporting the education agenda.
He also noted the need for continued professional guidance from the PPD as well as issues related to infrastructure and technology access that require follow-up action to maintain a conducive teaching and learning environment.
Haison said he hopes collaboration between the PPD, schools and PIBG will continue to be strengthened through transparent communication.
He assured that all identified issues will be addressed in stages according to priorities and available resources.
He said the main focus is to improve school management quality through focused monitoring to achieve holistic student development in line with national education aspirations.
Haison also reminded parents to ensure consistent school attendance among pupils.
He said children’s safety, discipline and emotional wellbeing are shared responsibilities requiring close cooperation between home and school.
He said any concerns should be discussed through the proper channels to maintain harmony among all parties.
Schools visited include SK Monsok Tengah, SK Kuala Monsok, SK Lotong and SK Kitou.
