State Government hands over two 4WD vehicles to Sabah police
Hajiji presents the replica key to Mohd Khalid.
KOTA KINABALU: The State Government on Friday handed over two four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicles to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Sabah Police Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (JSJN).

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor presented the replica keys to Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail at the Sabah Police Contingent Headquarters Drill Field here.

Mohd Khalid expressed appreciation for the contribution, describing it as timely in addressing logistical constraints and ageing operational vehicles faced by JSJN.

He said Sabah’s strategic location bordering Indonesia and the Philippines exposes the state to cross-border syndicates and large-scale drug smuggling activities.
