They will then compete against the University of the Philippines (UP) Alumni Football Team the following day (February 13).
Ex-State president Datuk James Wong said the trip will provide a wonderful opportunity for the players from both sides to showcase their skills and foster football camaraderie.
He expressed gratitude towards Datuk Ewon Benedick, Deputy Chief Minister III and Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Transportation, for his unwavering support for the trip, when they met up during a courtesy call recently.
He said Ewon also commended the ex-state players for their service and contributions to football in Sabah and encouraged them to continue inspiring young athletes in the state.
The 20-member team led by James will leave for Manila on Feb 11 and expected to return on Feb 15.
