KOTA KINABALU: ConocoPhillips Malaysia has contributed RM1.26 million to the Women and Children’s Hospital Sabah (HWKKS) to fund the purchase of essential medical equipment and upgrades to hospital facilities.
The company said the donation aims to improve care for mothers and children across the state by replacing aging equipment and enhancing patient facilities.

“This is our contribution toward strengthening healthcare services for the community,” said ConocoPhillips Malaysia president Connor Dunn, adding that the company supports the hospital’s and State Health Department’s efforts to provide better care for families in Sabah.
HWKKS, which serves as Sabah’s main referral centre for women and children, handles thousands of paediatric cases and more than 10,000 deliveries annually, and also houses East Malaysia’s only Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy Centre.
ConocoPhillips said the contribution is part of its wider commitment to community development in Sabah since taking over operatorship of the Kebabangan gas platform in 2025, with focus on health, education and sustainable development programs.
