SGS Mineral opens sample facility in Sandakan, boosts Sabah mining sector
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Mineral Management Sdn Bhd (SMM) welcomed the opening of the SGS Mineral Sample Preparation Facility in Sandakan on Wednesday (14 Jan), officiated by Sabah Natural Resources Office secretary Datuk Sernam Singh and witnessed by SMM CEO Natasha Sim.

The facility strengthens Sabah’s mineral exploration and analysis capabilities by improving data accuracy, traceability and turnaround time through localised sample preparation, reducing reliance on out-of-state testing.
