Key priorities include providing affordable housing for the B40 and M50 income groups, constructing new organised residential areas and upgrading basic infrastructure including roads, electricity, water supply and internet connectivity.
On top of housing, Mohd Ismail also proposed establishing tourism, handicraft, entrepreneurship and cultural sectors in Lamag.
These initiatives include providing permanent spaces for local product sales, building cultural rest stops, organising annual cultural festivals and establishing training centres for modern and traditional handicraft production to empower local entrepreneurs.
On education and skills development, the manifesto proposes establishing a Kinabatangan Skills College or Institute focusing on technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
High-potential fields identified include automotive, mechanical, electrical, modern agriculture, hospitality and tourism, with planned collaboration between government agencies and industry to guarantee employment opportunities for locals.
The establishment of a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) hub is also planned to encourage innovation and digital culture among youth.
Mohd Ismail has also prioritised sports development with proposals to build a Sports Complex or Mini Sports Complex in Kinabatangan.
He said such facilities would not only nurture young talent from school level to international competition, but also generate local economic activity, create employment opportunities and strengthen community unity through healthy lifestyles.
For basic infrastructure, the manifesto emphasises ensuring stable and safe electricity supply to every home, school and business premise, alongside construction of community water tanks to guarantee adequate clean water supply.
Development and upgrading of paved roads extending to villages, as well as installation of solar street lighting, are also priorities aimed at improving safety and ease of movement for residents.
Additionally, Mohd Ismail has included the development catalyst of the Bandar Baharu Seri Milian in his manifesto.
He said the overall set of proposal is formulated based on the actual needs of Lamag residents and would be implemented in stages with an inclusive approach, to ensure balanced and sustainable long-term development.
