Government seeks closer ties with banking sector
Masidi receives a memento from Phan, while others look on.
KOTA KINABALU: Deputy Chief Minister cum State Finance Minister Masidi Manjun received a courtesy call from Oriental Bank of Cambodia chairman Datuk Phan Ying Tong at his office on Thursday.

The delegation included Oriental Bank board members Vanseka Sok and Jean Loi Jin Choo, as well as Sabah Malaysia–China Chamber of Commerce president and Kim Teck Cheong executive Datuk Dexter Lau.

The meeting focused on strengthening ties between the State Government and the banking sector, while exchanging views on economic developments and investment opportunities in Sabah.

Masidi expressed appreciation for the visit and said he hoped strategic cooperation between both sides would continue to grow in support of the state’s economic development.
