Littering in Taman Suria could cost RM500
Chin stressed that maintaining a clean and pleasant environment requires everyone’s cooperation and called on residents to be civic-minded. 
Kota Kinabalu: Residents and visitors to Taman Suria, Kepayan, are urged not to litter, or they may face fines of up to RM500.

Kepayan Assemblyman Chin Tek Ming said the Penampang Municipal Council, together with the developer and management, had installed notice boards throughout Taman Suria to remind the public to dispose of rubbish properly in bins.

“The area is under joint monitoring. Anyone caught littering may be fined under local by-laws, with no exceptions,” he said on Wednesday.
