Kota Kinabalu: The State’s oil and gas services sector will take centre stage in June when Sabah hosts a three-day industry conference and exhibition aimed at strengthening local participation in the energy supply chain.
The Oil and Gas Services and Equipment Conference and Exhibition Sabah 2026 (OGSE Sabah 2026) is scheduled to be held from June 4 - 6 at the Sabah International Convention Centre, bringing together industry stakeholders to explore partnerships and development opportunities.

It is organised by the Sabah Oil and Gas Services Council (SOGSC) and Persatuan Kontraktor Petroleum Bumiputera Sabah (PKPBS).
The conference is designed to support Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor’s vision of empowering local industry players and increasing opportunities for Sabah-based companies in the oil and gas sector.
Senior representatives from major energy companies operating in Sabah attended the launch, including Petronas, ConocoPhillips, Hess Malaysia, Hibiscus Malaysia and SMJ Energy.
The organisers said the event would focus on local content development and enhancing the capabilities of Sabah-based oil and gas services and equipment providers.
It will provide a platform for networking and knowledge-sharing among industry participants.
The conference is expected to encourage local companies to explore collaboration and innovation opportunities within Sabah’s oil and gas landscape, with homegrown firms gaining access to potential partnerships that could help them scale their operations.
