Joniston, who is also Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) information chief, said the coalition remains clear in its direction while taking a pragmatic approach focused on effective government, smooth public services and progressive resolution of local issues.
He added that political maturity is reflected in the ability to manage differences constructively without undermining shared interests or social harmony, especially in Sabah’s multiracial and multireligious society.
Speaking at a Christmas and New Year thanksgiving ceremony attended by over 1,000 community leaders and religious representatives here, Joniston said political stability directly affects development continuity, funding delivery and the resolution of everyday issues faced by the people.
