KOTA KINABALU: LDP President Datuk Chin Su Phin called for consistent delivery of Sabah’s basic infrastructure, warning that road resurfacing, street lighting, water, and electricity services should not slow after election periods.
“Road resurfacing is not seasonal. Many residential roads have exceeded their lifespan and require full upgrades, not patchwork repairs.

“Water supply must be paired with pipeline upgrades, and electricity improvements must translate into real stability,” he said.
He also urged stronger enforcement in public services, transparency in GLC performance, and for residents to lodge complaints with LDP to push authorities for action.
“The time for action is now. These are basic necessities, not political issues,” he added.
