KOTA KINABALU: A Zhejiang provincial media delegation recently visited South Korea and Malaysia, facilitating several cooperation initiatives with support from provincial authorities.

During the trip, the Zhejiang International Communication Center (ZICC) engaged with major media organisations and institutions in both countries, including JoongAng Ilbo, KBS, Kwangju Ilbo, Overseas Chinese Daily News, Sin Chew Daily (Sabah) and the Sabah Malaysia–China Friendship Association.

ZICC signed three memorandums of understanding with Kwangju Ilbo, Overseas Chinese Daily News and the Sabah Malaysia–China Friendship Association, focusing on news content sharing, staff exchanges, joint reporting and cultural cooperation.

The visit strengthened Zhejiang’s overseas communication network and laid the foundation for deeper media and people-to-people exchanges in South Korea and Malaysia.
