Kota Kinabalu: Some 150 athletes are set to take part in the Mr Borneo Bodybuilding Championship at the Penampang Cultural Hall this Sunday (Dec 14).

Dyena Johntren recently, said they are very happy with the number of participants this year.
“The registration which was closed on December 5 has received an encouraging response with the participation of 150 athletes from Sabah, the Federal Territory of Labuan, Brunei Darussalam and Kalimantan, Indonesia,” he said.
According to him, the eight categories to be contested this year are Body Smart First Timer, Body Smart Model, Men Sport Physique 170cm and below, Men Sport
Physique 170cm and above, Men Bodybuilding 70kg and below, Men Bodybuilding 70kg and above, Women Bodybuilding and Women Athletic Physique.
Reporting session will be held on Friday (Dec 12) at the Penampang Cultural Hall secretariat meeting room.
He also said the competition also offers dinner tickets priced at RM3,000 and RM2,000 for a table, in addition to the sale of bodybuilding supplements and gym clothes.
