PAPAR: The public has been reminded to remain vigilant against scammers impersonating Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister and Papar Member of Parliament Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, his personal assistants or representatives for fraudulent activities.

Papar Parliamentary Liaison Officer Abd Rahim Aliudin said a police report was lodged on Thursday after individuals allegedly claimed to represent Armizan in attempts to deceive members of the public.

He said the alleged scammers were believed to have used WhatsApp messages and phone calls to make suspicious requests involving money, assistance, donations and personal matters.

Abd Rahim, through the official Facebook account of the Papar Parliamentary Liaison Office on Friday, advised the public not to trust suspicious messages or calls, particularly those involving financial transactions or requests made using Armizan’s name.
