KUCHING: A house in Tabuan Desa here nearly caught fire on Friday in an incident linked to suspected occult practices after a table burst into flames, the
Borneo Post reported.
The Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) personnel rushed to the scene at 6.11am following a distress call and quickly brought the situation under control.

JBPM said the fire was confined to the table and did not spread to the rest of the house.
Handout photos showed the burnt table beside a larger table believed to have been used as a makeshift altar, with pentagrams found drawn on the floor and wall nearby.
Firefighters ended the operation at 6.37am after ensuring the area was safe.
