BEAUFORT: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said Gabungan Rakyat Sabah remains committed to being a fair and just government as it seeks a renewed mandate from voters on Nov 29.
He said during a meet-the-people session at the Dataran Begandang here on Wednesday that the coalition’s manifesto is anchored on four pillars aimed at driving Sabah forward, encompassing unity, progress, economic growth and the principles of Sabah First, Sabah Forward, Sabah Prosper, and Sabah United.

Hajiji highlighted the State Government’s achievements under the Sabah Maju Jaya initiative, including post-pandemic economic recovery and the development of the Sabah Oil and Gas Industrial Park, which he said is now fully occupied.
He said GRS has balanced major development projects with people-focused assistance, noting the rise in welfare recipients and ongoing monthly support channelled through programmes such as e-Kasih.
Hajiji urged the coalition’s machinery to work diligently to secure victory for its candidates and continue the administration’s plans for the long term.
