KUCHING: Sarawak unveiled the official logo of its state-owned airline, AirBorneo, named Wings of Unity, on Thursday.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg launched the logo, which marks a milestone in AirBorneo’s mission to connect Sarawak globally.
The airline is set to begin operations in January 2026 under the slogan #BorneoForYou.
Abang Johari said AirBorneo will boost PCDS 2030 goals by enhancing ASEAN air links, creating jobs, supporting SMEs, upgrading infrastructure, and driving state economic growth.
AirBorneo will also take over and expand MASwings’ services, including critical rural air operations, while carrying Sarawak’s cultural identity and heritage into modern aviation.
