SEMPORNA: A total of 1,520 litres of suspected misappropriated petrol were seized in Ops Tiris 4.0 at Kampung Air, here, on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Semporna said the seizure was made by the Semporna Police Headquarters before being handed over to the KPDN Semporna.

KPDN Semporna, in a statement, said all the seized petrol was worth RM7,600. 

It said an investigation paper has been opened under the Control of Supplies Act 1961 for further action.
