Singapore-registered car allegedly caught filling up with Ron95

JOHOR BAHRU: A video showing a woman driving a Singapore-registered vehicle allegedly filling up with Ron95 petrol at a petrol station has gone viral on social media.

The clip, shared on Threads, allegedly showed the incident taking place at a BHP petrol station in Air Tawar.

In the video, the man recording was heard informing the woman that Ron95 was subsidised fuel and should not be purchased by foreign-registered vehicles, to which she replied that she “didn’t know”.

The incident sparked questions among netizens over the actions of the petrol station and pump attendants, with some alleging the refuelling appeared to have been allowed to proceed.
