KTC expands RM150m KKIP logistics hub
KOTA KINABALU: Kim Teck Cheong (KTC) Consolidated Berhad is investing RM150 million to expand its logistics and industrial hub at Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP), strengthening its regional supply chain operations across Sabah, Malaysia, Brunei and Asean.

Chairman Ts Datuk Seri Zuki Ali said the project will feature nearly 500,000 square feet of warehouse space with capacity for up to 200,000 pallets, designed as a long-term logistics ecosystem.

He said the expansion supports KTC’s growth target of RM2 billion revenue within three years, alongside plans to add about 400 vehicles and increase its workforce to around 2,300, including 500 new jobs.

Executive Director Datuk Dexter Lau said the investment reflects strong confidence in Sabah despite global uncertainties, adding that the company continues to grow locally while expanding into Peninsular Malaysia.
