Body found floating off Kg Pulau Gaya
Kasim urged members of the public with information on any missing persons or individuals believed to be connected to the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
Kota Kinabalu: Police confirmed the discovery of a body in waters off Kg Pulau Gaya, on Tuesday.

City Police Chief ACP Kasim Muda said a team of officers, including its forensic team, was deployed to the scene following a tip off.

“Further investigations are being carried out, and the body has been retrieved.

“The identity of the deceased has yet to be established and has been sent to the Forensic Department at Queen Elizabeth 1 Hospital here for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death,” he said.
