KOTA KINABALU: Sabahans will have access to free professional dental check-ups through a series of pop-up clinics organised by Colgate in collaboration with the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA) in April and May.
The initiative aims to improve early detection of dental issues and address limited access to oral healthcare services in the state.
MDA president Dr Chong Zhen Feng said expanding access to preventive care is crucial in reducing dental disease, adding that early check-ups allow individuals to manage oral health before problems worsen.
In Sabah, the clinics will be held at Servay Putatan, Kota Kinabalu (April 25–26); Bataras, Sandakan (May 2–3); Econsave, Lahad Datu (May 9–10); Bataras, Tawau (May 16–17); and Servay Tawau (May 23–24).
Colgate said the programme reflects its commitment to improving oral health through education and accessible services, particularly for underserved communities.
