KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and his wife Datin Seri Juliah Salag attended a Royal Mess Night at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Tuesday in conjunction with the 75th official birthday celebration of Sabah Governor Tun Musa Aman.

The couple arrived at about 7.45pm, followed by the Governor and his wife, Toh Puan Faridah Tussin.

The event featured a ceremonial reception including a guard procession, bagpipes, the singing of Negaraku and Sabah Tanah Airku, and the parade of the Royal Malaysia Police colours.

Highlights included traditional loyalty toasts to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the Rulers and Governors, and the nation’s security forces, as well as a cake-cutting ceremony, presentation of mementoes, and musical performances by the PDRM/ATM combo band.
