Merpati enhances Sabah elderly welfare
SANDAKAN: Datuk Julita Mojungki says the implementation of the Merpati Programme, which includes a day-care centre for senior citizens, is an important initiative to strengthen social welfare in Sabah in line with the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) agenda.

She said the programme supports families without replacing their role, while allowing senior citizens to remain active, socially engaged, and valued in the community.
