KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Deputy Chief Minister II and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun called on Qhazanah Sabah Berhad to strengthen its strategic planning to ensure more efficient, transparent and high-impact management of state assets and investments.

He stressed the need for proactive exploration of new opportunities, particularly in high-growth sectors such as technology, renewable energy and the digital economy, to secure sustainable returns and direct benefits for the people.

Masidi made the remarks during a courtesy visit by Qhazanah Sabah chairman Tan Sri Anifah Aman and his delegation, where the agency presented its strategic direction and future plans.

He also emphasised good governance, continuous monitoring and innovative approaches in project implementation, adding that the Sabah Finance Ministry will support efforts to align Qhazanah’s strategies with state fiscal policies and strengthen Sabah’s overall financial position.
