IN the Super League match that many including myself expected Sabah FC to win comfortably, the team suffered a 1-2 loss in the league to Immigration FC despite the home support on Saturday night.
The setback comes right after an encouraging victory against Perak FA in the MFL Challenge Cup semi-final.
Darren Lok’s opening goal in the 30th minute had set high hope for a decisive victory, but our players’ inability to finish further scoring chances ultimately cost us the match.
It serves as a painful reminder of the importance of finishing opportunities on the pitch.
