PAPAR: A foul smell lingering at a condominium led to the discovery of a man’s body in a house at Gloxinia Peak here Wednesday night.

The 32-year-old victim was found at about 10.30pm in the living room of the unit, believed to be his residence.

District Police Chief Supt Heryan Mohd Tahir said residents had lodged a report after noticing a persistent stench believed to be coming from one of the houses.

Following the report, police and personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department inspected a locked unit in the condominium.

The inspection led to the discovery of the victim’s body inside the house.
