Three cars belonging to ‘Cikgu Chandra’ torched in Puchong

PUCHONG:  Three cars belonging to social media activist Cikgu Chandra, whose real name is S. Chandrasegaran, were set on fire in a suspected pre-dawn arson attack at his home in Taman Kinrara here on Tuesday.

Reports by Malaysian media said the incident occurred at about 3am, when several masked individuals allegedly set fire to the vehicles parked outside the house.

The Fire and Rescue Department responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze, preventing the fire from spreading further.

Chandrasegaran was reported as claiming that his home had also been targeted earlier, when a group of men allegedly attempted to break in and vandalised parts of the property, including damaging the security grille and smashing the rear windscreen of a Perodua Viva.
