Malaysian influencer DMA Islam (

In a recent Threads post, he categorised laksa and sushi under what he termed “Gay's food list”, while listing Ayam Gepuk as “Alpha's food”.

He claimed those deemed “weak” would be unable to handle Ayam Gepuk’s sambal and added that “only kids drink Spanish latte”, with the drink name misspelt in the post.
The food-related remarks drew swift criticism from netizens, many describing the statements as inappropriate and insensitive, prompting hundreds of reactions, comments and reposts.
In a separate TikTok video, he defended his stance, saying he attacks ideas rather than individuals and asserting that he is more confident, more famous and has stronger social and communication skills than others.
During the same clip, he criticised journalists and media organisations, describing media practitioners as “flies” and alleging that, generally, they focus on negative issues to generate views.
He also claimed that mainstream media require sensational elements in headlines and maintained that every news outlet carries its own bias and agenda, before stating that “corruption is okay” if one is within the system but not acceptable for ordinary citizens outside it.
The corruption remark triggered further debate online, including a comment that read, “Corruption is okay if you're in corruption?”, with discussion continuing across platforms between those defending his right to express opinions and those criticising the tone and substance of his remarks.
