SABAK BERNAM: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) launched the Ihsan Food Bank Initiative (i-FB) to strengthen the implementation of the Malaysia Food Bank Programme in a more comprehensive and sustainable manner.
Its Minister, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, said the initiative represents a key transformation agenda following the Malaysia Food Bank Convention held on Dec 8 and 9 last year, aimed at ensuring the programme remains relevant, impactful and future-ready.
He said the transformation framework is built on three core pillars — Santuni Komuniti (Caring for the Community), Sayangi Alam (Love the Environment) and Selamatkan Makanan (Save Food).
