Sabah Sahabat AIM women record zero loan defaults

KOTA KINABALU: Women entrepreneurs under the Sahabat Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) programme in Sabah have achieved a zero per cent Portfolio At Risk, with all participants fully repaying their loans.

Deputy Chief Minister III Datuk Ewon Benedick said the achievement reflects strong financial discipline and effective business management among women entrepreneurs, and demonstrates the success of entrepreneurship development programmes.

He was speaking at the Pinknuari Gala & Legacy Night organised by the Kota Kinabalu Sahabat Ikhtiar Entrepreneurs Club (KUSIKK).

The event also honoured outstanding entrepreneurs and highlighted KUSIKK’s role in empowering women through financing, training and community support.
