KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said human capital development, people’s welfare, infrastructure and green sustainability are the main pillars of the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 roadmap.
He said RM164.01 million has been allocated for human capital initiatives, including scholarships, education aid, TVET, STEM, agricultural training and AI literacy, benefiting about 480,000 students.

Social assistance programmes such as Rumah Mesra SMJ and Sentuhan Kasih Rakyat (SYUKUR) have also been expanded.
Under infrastructure and green sustainability, RM6.8 billion has been allocated for major projects and digital connectivity, while RM672.05 million is set aside for environmental conservation, with a target of 30pc Totally Protected Areas by 2030.
Hajiji said the Blue Economy will drive SMJ 2.0 growth, supported by a RM1 billion Blue Sukuk initiative, and stressed that the roadmap’s success depends on the efficiency and integrity of civil servants.
