Not a convincing performance
THE late equaliser from Fergus Tierney earned Sabah FC a 2-2 draw with Melaka FC in the 1st leg of the Malaysia Cup played at the Hang Hebat Stadium in Melaka on Sunday.

The Under-23 international drove home from close range following a superb delivery across the goal by Dane Ingham from a distance.

Ajdin Mujagic had earlier cancelled out the home side’s third minute opening goal with an opportunistic strike in the 14th minute to level the score after the opposing goalkeeper failed to make a clean catch from a Fergus strike.

It wasn’t a very convincing performance from the team even though it featured almost all of the seasoned players with the exception of Stuart Wilkin and Daniel Ting following their departures.
