SANDAKAN: Compensation for land and structures under Phase 1B of the Pan Borneo Highway Sabah Project – Work Packages (WP) 25 and WP 26 – is expected to be fully resolved by June.
Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Maslan emphasised the need to address significant delays in the Pan Borneo Highway Sabah Project during a field visit to the Kinabatangan district.
The inspection was part of the first “Turun Padang” (field visit) programme for 2026.
The visit focused on two critical work packages: WP25, which involves upgrading a 14.97-kilometre stretch of road from Kampung Perpaduan Datuk Moh to Sukau, and WP26, which covers a further 18 kilometres from Sukau to Kampung Lot M. These upgrades are part of the larger effort to complete the Pan Borneo Highway network in Sabah.
