BEAUFORT: Firefighters made an unusual but gentle rescue on Thursday afternoon when they freed a white cat whose head had become firmly stuck inside a doorknob at a house in Kampung Batu 6, Lumadan.

The eight-member team arrived within 15 minutes of the call and carefully eased the feline out unharmed, wrapping up the brief operation with no injuries.
