Kota Kinabalu: A 61-year-old man died on the spot after his motorcycle sideswiped the right rear of a Toyota Hilux under the Jalan Kolam flyover around 1.30pm, Friday.

Mahamud bin Yunos was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

The Hilux driver, in his 50s, who was heading home in Bundusan, Penampang, was unharmed.

Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal collision.
