KLANG: A man was briefly denied entry to the Klang Land Office after turning up in shorts, before being allowed in only after donning a sarong provided by security staff, according to a video shared on social media, China Press reported.

The footage shows the man arriving at the government office in a yellow T-shirt, black shorts and slippers to attend to official business.

He was stopped at the entrance by a security guard who informed him that his attire breached the building’s dress code and that he would not be permitted to enter wearing shorts.

Despite attempting to explain his situation, the man was asked to comply with the rules, with the guard remaining firm on the requirement.
