KOTA KINABALU: Nominated Assemblyman Datuk Roger Chin has called for honesty and higher standards in governance, saying Sabahans have been denied both resources and clarity for decades.
He said Sabah's problems is not because the State is poor, but because things have not been managed well, like frequent power cuts, water shortages and roads that keep breaking.
He said the government should fix what is already broken before starting fancy new projects.
Chin believes young Sabahans are talented and capable, but they need better systems and leadership to build their future at home.
He wants more straight talk and accountability from leaders.
